This cinderella story of a photographer/artist finally receiving recognition in the twilight of his career, is all over the news. I haven't seen more than a few of his photographs so far. But, from what I have seen, they look quite simple technically. Just goes to show you don't have to use tons of equipment to make a compelling image.
